At Hike, we’re working hard to make our point-of-sale software beautiful to look at, a joy to use, and super easy to setup.

Our mobile point of sale was first made available on the iPad but is now ready to use for Android. We understand that upgrading to shiny iPad registers may not always be feasible. Especially in the times like Covid19 when we are all trying our best to reduce all controllable operating costs as much as we can. That does not mean you have to continue using a traditional POS software that feels like programming a beta-max video recorder in the dark.
We’re changing that with our brand-new Android POS App. Android tabs are available at a fraction of the cost and provide you with equally robust portable POS system that comes with Plug & Play hardware compatibility. Android POS system that works, out of the box. A tablet POS system easy for anyone to setup, without having to spend a whole lot of money, or find an IT guru to do it for you.

Hike POS for Android will allow more retailers to accept mobile payment from Android devices and not just iPads. This means a wider reach because there are still more Android device users all over the world.

So if you’re a retailer, check out Hike POS on the Google Play Store. You can sign up for our 14-day free trial at https://hikeup.com
Hike POS register for Android tablets lets you sign into any register on your Hike account and connect a range of standard peripherals using ‘Plug & Play’ technology. Just plug in the device, switch it on, and Hike app will discover and set it up for you.
Supported tablet sizes
Hike Android POS system is supported on the following Android tabs:
- 7 inch
- 10.1 inch

That said, above are the devices that we have tested. Things should not change much for other sizes. If you already own an Android tablet of another size, please give it a try, chances are that more than likely it will work. If you are buying a new one to be used as a POS, please use either 7 or 10.1 inch as they are confirmed tested to be working. We will be testing more device sizes in coming weeks.
