Hike is a web-based point of sale you can use on any computer or device, with a native iPad app to sell on-the-go. It works online and offline, automatically syncing transactions once you are back online. An integrated barcode scanner, intuitive search and easy product tap make finding products simple, and you can attach notes to orders so staff know any special details.
Checkout
Record partial payments and park orders — perfect for takeout, on-the-go and online sales. Process layby and 'on account' sales with deposits, customer credit limits and automatic inventory updates. Apply discounts, process returns and issue refunds with ease, and use as many tax rate settings as you need across regions.
Payments
Accept all payment types including cash, cheque, debit, credit, gift cards and loyalty points — and create custom payment types too. Seamlessly integrate with renowned payment processors globally, including Worldpay, Tyro, PayPal and iZettle. Issue store credits on returns and use them as a payment type for future transactions.
Customer engagement
Give customers the choice of email or printed receipts. Your social media links are included on email receipts so you can engage even after they leave the store, and both printed and emailed receipts can feature custom messages — perfect for a holiday greeting or a loyalty discount to keep them coming back.
Shift reports & analytics
Reduce errors and theft with advanced cash management and a log of all incoming and outgoing cash. Comprehensive shift reports show daily totals, payments by type and expected vs actual amounts, with drill-down to any transaction. Hike logs every transaction so you can see what was created and by whom — useful for verification and measuring team performance.
