Here’s What’s New & Awesome:
New Refund Flexibility: Use Store Credit for Lay-by, On-account, and Backorders sales.

We’ve made refunds smoother! Store Credit is now available as a refund option for partially paid Backorders, Laybys, and On Account transactions – giving you and your customers greater flexibility. Simply select “Store Credit” during the refund process to instantly issue credit to the customer’s store credit account.
This streamlines returns, improves customer satisfaction, and keeps cash flow simple!


We already have an option to refund completed sales via Store credits.
New Report: Price & Cost Change History Report:

Introducing the Product Price Change History Report – your ultimate tool for monitoring cost and retail price adjustments across your inventory! Find every price change with advanced filters for locations, date ranges, product name, or SKUs/bar codes. Track both cost and retail changes in one click. Stay on top of margins, spot errors early, and make smarter pricing decisions—faster than ever!

See Who Raised Every Support Ticket

We’ve added user/submitter names directly to issue tickets in Hike for full transparency. Now you’ll instantly know which team member initiated a ticket when viewing details. This streamlines follow-ups, clarifies ownership, and speeds up resolution—no more guessing who needs updates!

Instantly Track Purchase Orders in Sales History for MYOB on-account sales

Purchase Order (PO) numbers are now added to your Sales History for seamless order tracing. While customer receipts remain unchanged, your team can now quickly reference PO numbers against sales records. Simply check any transaction in Sales History to see its linked PO—no more digging through files!

This boosts backorder tracking and simplifies supplier reconciliations.
Note: This feature is only available for MYOB on-account sales. Not available in any other scenarios.
Promotions: Hour-Based Discount Offers
(Hike Plan: Plus )
Now create hyper-targeted promotions with precision! We’ve added start/end time settings to discount offers within Hike —enable the “Time period” setting in Discount Offer Setup and pick your exact active window (e.g., “4 PM–6 PM Friday Happy Hour”) by adjusting the time.

Hike POS will auto-validate the current time during checkout and apply discounts only within your set period. The offer will not apply on the POS when the time has passed. It will only work between the selected time-period.
Boost flash sales, prevent off-hours redemptions, and run promotions smarter!
Know Your Gift card balances on the Sales receipt
(Hike Plan: Plus)
Gift card balances will now display on customer receipts when used in a sale transaction! You will need to activate a setting on the receipt template to allow this information on the receipt.
Once activated, the Gift card details will be visible on your sales receipt.

See remaining balances instantly, including the Opening balance, Gift card amount used in the current sale, and the closing balance of the Gift card used.

Enjoy happier customers and fewer “What’s my gift card balance?” questions at checkout!
Average Weighted Cost Column in a Product Export File:

Based on customer feedback, we’ve added the “Average Cost Price” column to your product export Excel files—giving you instant visibility into weighted costs for margin analysis.
This will only be available for stores where the Average weighted cost price is calculated.

This aligns with all existing Hike reports where costs are already calculated, ensuring consistency across your data. Export your product list and strategize pricing or profitability with complete cost clarity.

Admin Control for User Roster/Time Entries!

Admins now have control to delete roster time entries—perfect for correcting errors or adjustments. Permission-based access ensures only authorized users can modify entries. We have provided a new User Permission which will allow users access to delete Roster entries for other users.

As an admin user, you have the option to edit the entry. When you open this entry, you will be able to delete it entirely.

Price/Dollar focused Discount offers!

We have added a new discount offer based on customer feedback: A set dollar value discount on products, product types, Brands, and Product Tags. We already had a percentage discount, but now it is extended to the price as well.
Within the discount below, you can select either Percentage (%) or Price ($). When customers purchase a specified quantity of a selected product, they’ll receive a flat dollar discount on each unit they buy.

Example: Buy 2 or more of Product A and get $10 off per item.
That means if you buy 2, you save $20 total!
Customers see clear dollar savings, boosting perceived value. Perfect for driving volume sales with transparent, irresistible offers!
Register Visibility in Sales History!

We’ve added register names directly to the Payment Summary within Sales History—instantly see which register/terminal processed every transaction.

No more guessing where sales occurred; track register-specific activity, resolve discrepancies faster, and simplify end-of-day reconciliation at a glance!
Ideal for multi-register stores and audit workflows!
Inventory Dashboard advanced filters:

Hike POS now lets you analyse inventory totals by product name, Product type, Brands, season, supplier, or tags directly on the Inventory Dashboard.
This instantly reveals the total value, quantities, and costs tied to each product, product category, brand, supplier, season, or tag—no manual calculations needed. Use it to identify fast-moving items, optimize stock allocation, and make data-driven purchasing decisions.

With the advanced filter, you can also filter the data based on Inventory (low inventory, zero inventory…) and sales channels (active on POS or eCommerce) as well.
Intelligent Age Verification. Validate the customer’s date of birth.

Based on the customer feedback, as always, Hike now supports product-specific age verification at checkout. When enabled for products (for 18+ or 21+ limits), cashiers are prompted to input the customer’s birthdate during checkout. The system instantly verifies eligibility and blocks non-compliant sales.



When creating a new product, you will have an option to select the age requirement for the product. 18 or 21.

This feature is perfect for liquor stores, vape shops, hemp stores, pharmacies, and any business selling age-restricted items.
Product type/Category images now sync to Ecwid:

Your product type/categories’ images added to Hike will now sync to Ecwid product category with this new release.
On the integration page, we have provided a new option for Category Image Sync preference, where you can select how you wish to sync the category image between Hike and Ecwid.

Decimal separator option: Comma or Dot for English (Kuwait) language:

We have extended the decimal separator choice for another language. As per customer feedback, English (Kuwait) language users will also have a choice to select which decimal separator they want: Comma or Dot.

This feature is already available on the Arabic and Arabic (Kuwait) languages.
Enhanced the Optional Extras feature for a better user experience

We have added a new improvement to the optional extras feature:
Larger images and names for the optional extra products:
This will enable the users to identify and add the products to the sale easily. You can check the entire product name and bigger images for the product for a faster and clearer checkout process.

POS training mode user permission:
(Hike Plan: Plus)
Based on the customer feedback, some owners do not provide POS training mode access to their users. To achieve this, we have added a new user permission that will limit the training mode access to the users.
A new permission has been added under Point of Sale. This permission will be active by default for new users. The admin can remove this access anytime they wish.

Option to restrict selected payment types from the registers:

As per the feedback from our customers, they wanted to remove the cash payment option from selected registers, as they are not accepting cash payments at a particular register.
Hence, we have provided the option to remove payment types from selected registers.
On the payment type page, you will have option to select which register you wish the payment type to be available.

When you select the register from the list, the payment type will only be available on that register.
This ensures that users do not accidentally use the restricted payment type for the register.
Search with outlet names on reporting page:

For the customers with multiple outlets, it is sometimes cumbersome to find the outlets from the drop-down in the reporting page. To resolve this, we have added a feature where the user can find the outlet name using the search option.

This is helpful for the multiple outlet stores to enhance productivity and user experience.
